My spiritual walk with Christ since college ministry in Germany has rested on my dependence upon the Lord to equip and empower my ministry. Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians 12:9 is my life verse, “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” I have come to believe wholeheartedly: I cannot accomplish the ministry God has called me to without the Lord’s grace and strength. This keeps me humble and seeking the Lord’s guidance through each stage of life and ministry.
