Each candidate will answer these questions during the livestream:
- What are the greatest challenges to the Church in spreading the gospel in the United States today?
- One of the areas of challenge for GAD is our geographic distance;what are some things that a healthy diocese could do in order to navigate the challenges of being so far apart?
- Please state your position on the issue of women’s ordination in regard to the diaconate, priesthood, and women priests serving as rectors. How would you envision raising up and empowering female leaders in the church?
- What is the hardest lesson you’ve learned about yourself in ministry?

- What is the Gospel? If you only had two minutes in an elevator, how would you share the gospel with an individual who asked?
- What would be your strategy for raising up and recruiting the next generation of leaders for the Church?
- Describe both theologically and practically how you view the nature and function of a bishop and of a diocese. Given your intention to stay where you are, how would you practically pastor the diocese? What systems would you employ for the care of clergy?
- What are the daily, weekly, seasonal rhythms of prayer that sustain your sense of the Lord’s Presence in your life and that of your family?

- One of the opportunities GAD faces is church planting; tell us about your philosophy of church planting, as well as your experience(s) with church planting?
- The ACNA has faced some difficult clergy and lay misconduct cases over the last few years, as has our own diocese. Tell us about your understanding of the role of the bishop & diocese regarding prevention of, and response to, sexual misconduct for both adults and children.

- Explain and describe how you will go about setting the vision for the Gulf Atlantic Diocese, including how you have led vision processes in the past.
- What is your view of confirmation and how would you like to see youth and adults prepared for confirmation? What would be an appropriate process? What vision do you have for keeping youth in worship and community after they are confirmed?
- What is the role of the Diocese in providing programs for retreat and renewal in the Church? Would this be a priority for you and how would you go about creating and sustaining these programs?
- What would you say to a clergy person who was experiencing burnout?
